The purpose of Samahang Pilipino is to maintain and disseminate the cultural heritage of the Philippines and the Pilipinx American Experience, be a source of discussion and participation in critical issues that affect the Pilipinx community as well as other ethnic minorities, and actively promote social interaction and publicize all events. We root ourselves in our five core pillars: Social, Political, Academic, Community, and Cultural Growth.

Samahang Pilipino (SP) consists of five entities: Samahang Pilipino Education and Retention (SPEAR), Samahang Pilipino Advancing Community Empowerment (SPACE), Samahang Pilipino Cultural Night (SPCN), Kabalikat Kore (KK), and SP Board.
