Samahang Pilipino Education and Retention (SPEAR) is the SP entity that primarily works on holistic development of Pilipinx students at UCLA through peer counseling sessions, academic resources and outreach, mentorship, internship, and transfer counseling/collaborations. SPEAR envisions an actively engaged community comprised of self-aware and critically conscious students who prioritize their wellbeing while pursuing their goals.

Family head applications for One Step Mentorship (OSA) are due Wednesday, 9/9!

How to Get Involved
If you'd like to have a peer counselor for the summer, fill out the preference form! One Step Mentorship applications come out in the Fall and Winter quarters, so keep an eye out for the application on the website or on Instagram! STEP Internship applications are also released at the beginning of every quarter.
