Board is the governing entity of SP, acting as a liaison to external organizations. It is responsible for creating the general programming that sustains the community. Not only is it a wonderful place to find community, but also to make a difference around UCLA. We host regular social events, general meetings, and opportunities to get involved! The Pilipinx Leadership Internship Program (PLIP) is Samahang Pilpino board's internship and is an amazing opportunity to find community, strengthen your Pilipinx identity, and develop leadership skills! It consists of two components: a weekly class to explore the various aspects of Pilipinx culture and identity, and a shadowing experience directly under one of SP’s board members.
